| With some delay, we are very glad to show you the pictures of the 2 shows we had in Chinchero, the capital of the district where the school of Umasbamba and the Lake of Piuray are located. The Solstice day is been a very important day for our culture since ancient times and it was exactly 8 years ago when we began this project and gave it the name of Children of the Sun to conmemorate this special day. The children were performing for the primary school and the high school students in 2 consecutive days.Here some pictures of the day of rehearsal and the shows. |

| Chinchero is a litlle more than 12.000 feet asl. The 2 schools are side by side and they have a gorgeous landscape around. |
