THEATRICAL TRAINING 2011 FIRST WEEK

We have begun with the theater workshop in Umasbamba that will last for a month. Finishing it the children will be ready for the shows that we expect to present outside of the community. The 4th graders have been incorporated this year and they are the ones who were in 1st grade when we first came into school in 2008. They are very enthusiastic and so are the parents.
New children are being prepared to perform the different characters of the play replacing the ones who finished school last year.
Some of them have texts to say in quechua language, their mater language
The first activity with the children this year to begin the theater workshop was coming down to Urubamba at the Sacred Valley to be part of a Chidren´s Day activity with games, some theater and a delicious potato dish. They were audience in this occasion. The Municipality provided a bus for us to travel.

We are ready to go back home. It was a lot of fun
