Hi dear friends:
The show at the school was great. We invited around 350 children from the schools in the communities nearby. All of them share the myth represented in the play because all their villages are around the lake.
They came with their teachers.
We have an amazing surprise that day! The Art Director Lucho Ramirez announced that he is going to take responsability on the project the next year, so the theater will continue in Umasbamba!
That feel us with joy because the children, the parents and the teachers were asking us to continue.
I am sure you are rejoicing with us! So the farewell show became a celebration one!
We invited the participants in the project in previous years to join us for lunch. Many of them came. It moved our hearts look at them already young.
We also had the visit of Francisco Morales Bermudez, who has profusely contributed to this project. He came with a group of friends who shared with the children some Synergy Yoga. Lots of fun.
I am having problems to upload the pictures. It seems that my space is full so I put them in Facebook.
Please you need to go to this link to see them.
Thank you very much for another year of fun, art and education!!!!

Ready to go
Arriving at Pisaq incan place
The children listened carefully to the history of the place. None of them had been there before.

With the sixth grader´s teacher Zenobio
High season. The place was crowded.
Mmmm...time for lunch
After lunch we were ready to go swimming!!!
Just two of them knew how to float, but they had the best time ever!!!
After acquiring more confidence they decided to go into the big pool.

THE THIRD AND FOURTH SHOW OF 2012
Dear friends: The children performed two more times this month. On the 4th we were at Maras , a small village famous by its salt mines. We arranged with the principals of the 3 schools there to gather all the children in one of the schools to see the show. There were around 400 children from two primary schools and one high school. The Mayor of Maras supported us with the transportation of actors and props.
On the 5th our children had a show for 750 students from a high school in Urubamba named General Ollanta. There were also 75 more children coming from a small rural school near by supported by the ducht Foundation Arco iris. The Foundation provided also the transportation for the actors to Urubamba round trip from Umasbamba.
Both were very good shows though seems to be that the children feel more comfortable with big audiences!
Our goal this year is to do the next show in Aguas Calientes, the town close to Machu Picchu, so the children could have the opportunity to visit the place. Any donation will be use for this purpose.
Thank you!
